President
Nas Yadollahi
Nas has led Local 79 to historic gains at the bargaining table by putting members at the centre of every campaign.
This is the team that has brought you historic contracts, power in every workplace and accessible leadership. Vote for these members to build on that worker power and keep making Local 79 one of the most powerful unions in Canada.
Our slate is a team of members who share one vision for Local 79: a union that belongs to its members, bargains in the open, keeps its books open and builds real power in every workplace. Every candidate here has shown, through years of stewarding, organizing, bargaining and showing up for members, the dedication and integrity it takes to turn that vision into results. Running together means that everyone on the ballot, from the President to the Unit Officers and Executive Officers at Large, is committed to the same plan and accountable to the same members.
The table officers who lead Local 79 day to day, from bargaining and the grievance process to the Local's finances and membership.
